We’re super stoked to announce that our good friends in Broadway Calls and Into it. Over it. will be joining us on tour in the UK and Europe this winter! Our new album, Good For Me, will see its European release on November 21st, and will feature an exclusive bonus track called, “Never Greener.”

SWELLERS’ SPRING 2010 EUROPEAN TOUR BLOG
Day 1: Arrival in Munich, Germany

Ryan, Nick and myself were all overpacked and ready to fly to Germany. We conned our way to checking our guitars in for free and saved several hundred dollars.
Anto’s plane from Toronto landed while our flight was boarding, just in time. Crazy Heart and Fantastic Mr. Fox played on the flight which were two movies I really wanted to see, then I passed out during 17 Again while the rest of my bandmates indulged in Zach Efron. Some weirdo lady snuck her dog on the plane and it got loose and ran down the aisle which I missed during my delightful 2 hours of sleep that flight.
8+ hours on the plane and we landed in Munich, grabbed our bags and met our crew from England: merch guy Rich Murphy and tour manager Nathan. Rich plays in a band from England called All Or Nothing and Nathan was in metal bands Conflict, Capricorns and Lab Rat. He’s like the badass roadie from Wayne’s World, if that dude was friends with Baroness and Mastadon..
We drove 4 hours to Munich from Frankfort. We learned the Sprinter van is tall enough for us to stand up in it and you have to pay 50 cents to use the bathroom at gas stations. Went to some pubs and a beer hall so our non straight edge half could get some drinks, we learned you have to pay for water and if you’re a tourist they’ll give you the most expensive bottle of carbonated water.
