Political Punishment - Part 1

Acclaimed director Anto Boros (also known as the bassist of The Swellers) is back with the follow-up to his 2010 debut, Les Incorruptibles. Political Punishment is the tale of a mayor’s son who gets kidnapped during election time. It’s jam-packed with special effects and stunts so buckle your seatbelt and enjoy the bumpy ride.

Political Punishment was filmed during The Swellers’ summer tour with friends Fake Problems and Daytrader.

BOTH of our east coast holiday shows are canceled! We definitely tried to make it, but the snow was just too intense. Asbury Park was completely locked down, and we couldn’t even get into the city for our show with The Bouncing Souls! Then, we got stuck on an exit ramp leaving NJ so had to cancel Philly as well. Jono has some pictures of it all up on his blog right now if you want to see what it was like. We’ll be back out touring again next year….right after we finish recording our new album :) jonathandiener: We are officially going home. Now we drive back. No Philly or NJ for us. We literally can’t do anything. Even plows are stuck in snow and the last semi truck we saw get stuck in the road did it for us. We apologize immensely, we drove over 12 hours to try and we can’t. This picture should give you the idea. We all learned a lesson.

We’re honored to announce that our friends in the Bouncing Souls invited us to be a part of their holiday shows in New Jersey this year! Totally crazy how a band we’ve looked up to our whole lives would invite us to be part of a tradition that’s been running about as long as we’ve all been alive. What makes it even more awesome is that our good friends in Fake Problems and Lemuria will be joining us for the show! Everyone on the east coast should be at The Stone Pony on 12/27 to party with us!
